Hi, My name is Austin and I'm the CEO of Weezle Marketing.
I get asked a lot on how to help bands become famous (on a cheap budget lol)
So here is what I would do before paying a marketing company like myself.
Check your analytics : Who are you promoting to and who actually likes your music?
When checking your analytics, figure out where people are listening to, state, city, who they are, age group, sex, things they like, etc. Understand your demographic and focus on them.
Marketing Pro Tip : Do you know what part of the song people like the most? Has it been clipped and used in other videos?
Do you know how to target and re-target these people aside from just social media?
Re-target this list with other content they might like as well through meta, but also through your website. Ps. if you don't have a website get one hehe. Hit me up.
We can help with booking you more shows.
Retarget these demographics to get more true attention and build fans. Just because they like the song, doesn't mean they are totally invested into you to become fans. We can help gain true fans.
We can help with conversion campaigns to help sell your merch, pre-sells, sell exclusive content, etc.
Do you know how to book shows?
- Have you tried these three platforms to book independently?
Are you set up professionally to be found and booked?
First, do you have a EPK? https://www.weezle.io/post/how-to-create-an-epk-for-musicians-onto-your-website-weezle
Second, do you even have a website to help you be found? (If you don't hit us up!)
Third, are your booking platforms communicated everywhere so people can find you?
Fourth, do you have email newsletters or advanced level SMS (Texting) services enabled to send to your fans so you over communicate everything to them?
Fifth, can people find all your socials easily?
Sixth, do you have professional branding?
Do you know how to sell merchandise on a budget?
Start a print on demand company onto your website to help you sell without holding onto inventory.
Are you a Publisher or just a Songwriter? Hint : You should be a publisher if you are independent and your own label. I've heard of people getting paid twice in royalty and booked gigs when you set things up properly.

Get paid for people looking for songs!
Once again, please let me know if you have any questions and please by all means don't take any of these things as facts on how to scale guaranteed, you still need to have good songs and a fun brand online to be successful as an independent artist. If you need for us to help audit or set up / launch any of these steps along with you, please schedule a call to get started!
